In July of 1984, Mel Himes Jr. opened the doors of Mel Himes & Associates Insurance Agency to begin his own insurance business. Although Mel has been at MHAIA for 37 years now, he has been in the insurance industry for 51 years! He also has a B.A. in English and Minor in Religion/Bible. Mel specializes in Property, Casualty, Life, Health and Annuity. His goal in the insurance industry is to be the best insurance professional possible. Being well educated and involved in his dealings with clients, companies and his employees is his main priority. When Mel is not in the office, you can most likely find him bass fishing or traveling!
